A place to get started

Support & activation.

Make room for your work. Here’s how to set up Panoramac and manage your two Mac activations.

Panoramac 1.0.0: Download the signed and notarized Mac app. Requires macOS 14 or later; supports Apple silicon and Intel.

Check your Mac

Panoramac requires macOS 14 or later, on Apple silicon or Intel. It is a menu bar app. You will need an internet connection to activate a license and macOS Accessibility permission to manage windows.

Install Panoramac

Open the downloaded disk image and drag Panoramac to Applications. Open it from Applications, then use Settings › License to activate your purchase. A ZIP download and checksums are also available.

Purchase and activate

  1. Buy Panoramac through Polar. Checkout opens in your browser; the app does not collect card details.
  2. After purchase, find your Panoramac license key in your Polar purchase details. Keep your receipt and key private.
  3. Open Panoramac’s Settings and select License. Paste the key into the license field and activate it.
  4. Allow Accessibility in System Settings › Privacy & Security › Accessibility. Return to Panoramac, choose the displays you want to manage, and set up your controls.

The listed price is $3.50 USD as a one-time purchase, for up to two Mac activations. The license does not expire. Any applicable taxes are shown at checkout.

Use it on a second Mac

Install Panoramac and activate the same key on your second Mac. Each installation uses one of the license’s two activation slots. The device label shown to Polar uses a random identifier, rather than your Mac’s name or hardware serial number.

Move an activation to another Mac

On the old Mac, open License settings and use Deactivate this Mac while online. Wait for deactivation to finish, then activate on your new Mac. Removing the app or deleting its preferences does not release a Polar activation.

The separate Forget saved license locally action only removes the saved license on that Mac. It does not free an activation slot. If you no longer have access to a Mac, use the license management available in your Polar purchase details, or contact support.

If activation does not work

Check your internet connection and paste the whole key without extra spaces. If both activation slots are in use, deactivate an installation you no longer use. An invalid or revoked key cannot unlock the app.

A previously verified license can work offline for up to 30 days. After that, reconnect to verify it. If macOS Keychain reports a storage problem, resolve it and verify again so your license can be saved between launches.

Find your purchase

Start with the receipt email from Polar and open its purchase details. If you cannot find your order, email sales@panoramac.app using the address you purchased with. Include the order reference if you have it; do not send your full license key or card details.

Window management and permissions

Choose the displays Panoramac should manage in Settings. Configure gestures and shortcuts there, and use floating rules for apps you want to keep outside the strip. Pause window management from the menu bar when needed.

Panoramac requires Accessibility. It does not require Screen Recording or Input Monitoring, and you do not need to disable System Integrity Protection. Another window manager may conflict with window placement; pause it while checking Panoramac’s behavior.

Privacy

Window titles and layouts stay on your Mac. The app has no analytics or advertising service. Polar processes purchases and license verification. See the privacy policy for the details.
