Panoramac Privacy Policy
Effective October 31, 2026. Panoramac is developed by HASAN HARUN KİLİMCİ under the Azrapps brand.
Window data stays on your Mac
Panoramac does not operate an analytics, advertising, or tracking service. It does not record screenshots, audio, video, or keystroke contents. Window management data stays on your Mac. Release builds contact Polar only for license activation, validation, and deactivation.
Window management and permissions
With your Accessibility permission, Panoramac reads information about running applications and their windows, including window titles, identifiers, positions, sizes, and focus, to arrange windows and display its minimap. Window titles may contain personal information. They are used in memory and are not included in saved layouts or sent to the developer.
Panoramac processes pointer movement, mouse buttons, trackpad gestures, modifier scrolling, and the global shortcuts you configure to operate its window controls. It does not retain an input history. You can pause window management from the menu bar or quit the app. You can revoke Accessibility permission in System Settings › Privacy & Security › Accessibility.
If a previous session could not restore parked windows, Panoramac can retry those saved restores with Accessibility permission even while its license is locked. This recovery does not enable new window layouts or global input interception.
Local preferences
Panoramac saves your settings and layouts in macOS preferences on your Mac. These include display identifiers and choices, window identifiers and layout proportions, preferred heights, application identifiers for floating rules, and shortcut assignments. A one-way hash also records a rejected license locally so a failed Keychain write does not restore cached access. The app reads running application identifiers locally to identify potential window-manager conflicts. The Mac Setup checklist does not read other applications’ preferences.
Preferences remain between launches until you remove them. To delete the app’s saved settings and layouts, quit Panoramac and run defaults delete com.azrapps.panoramac in Terminal. Uninstalling the app alone may leave local preferences on your Mac. Disabling Launch at login in Settings removes Panoramac’s login registration.
Purchases and license verification
Polar hosts checkout in your browser and processes your purchase under its privacy policy. Panoramac does not receive or store card details. Your purchase and contact information are processed through Polar; the developer can manage orders and licenses through the merchant dashboard.
To unlock the app, Panoramac sends Polar your license key, the developer’s organization and license-benefit identifiers, and, when device activations are enabled, a random installation identifier and the activation identifier returned by Polar. The device label contains “Panoramac Mac” and a short portion of the random identifier. It does not contain your Mac’s name, serial number, hardware identifier, or username. Polar also receives your IP address and normal network request information. Window titles, layouts, input events, and your running application list are never included.
The app stores your license key, activation identifiers, and verification dates in macOS Keychain on this Mac. It verifies at launch and periodically while running. Previously verified purchases may work offline for up to 30 days, subject to license expiry; a confirmed invalid or revoked license disables new window management. If saving a verified existing license fails, its verification can remain in memory for that session with a storage warning; this does not create a new durable grant for future launches. Deactivation releases this Mac’s device activation when enabled and removes the local license only after release is confirmed or its absence is reconciled. The separate “Forget saved license locally” action removes only this Mac’s saved license after confirmation; it does not release an activation in Polar. Deleting app preferences or uninstalling the app does not by itself remove its Keychain item or release an activation. Builds running in development mode do not require purchases or contact Polar.
Updates and system services
This direct-distribution edition does not automatically download or install executable updates. macOS may separately collect system diagnostics according to your system settings and Apple’s policies.
